A director at a Jewish law school is promoting a conference denouncing anti-Semitism dominated by speakers routinely accused of being anti-Semites. Chief among them will be Linda Sarsour, well-known for her outspoken harsh criticism against Israel and anti-Zionist sentiment.

Jocelyn Getgen Kestenbaum, a faculty head at the Manhattan Yeshiva University Cardozo School of Law, messaged students on Nov. 15  about the upcoming event. The email, obtained by the Washington Free Beacon, reads:

“Hi everyone, In case it’s of interest to anyone, on Tuesday, Nov. 28, there is an book launch [sic] event at the New School called ‘Antisemitism and the Struggle for Justice.’ A brief description and link to the event are below…”

The event that Kestenbaum enthusiastically plugs, especially given the paltry $5 entrance fee, is a production of the Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), a left-wing organization that promotes the “anti-Zionist” agenda of  Sarsour.

For Sarsour, anti-Zionism means equating Zionists to white supremacists and extolling the virtues of confirmed anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, the Nation of Islam founder who has long advocated the destruction of Israel and Jews. Sarsour has tweeted: “Nothing is creepier than Zionism.”

Although the JVP says you can be anti-Zionist without necessarily being anti-Semitic, given that the group is gunning for Israel’s destruction, most critics see it as just another front organization for anti-Semitic propaganda. The organization has also feted known terrorists convicted of murdering Israeli citizens.

Jewish leaders have been effusive in their criticism of the New School, where the event is scheduled to unfold on Tuesday. A petition has been circulating protesting the decision by the academic facility to host the JVP event.
