Two new judges appointed to circuit courts

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Governor Jim Justice has appointed two new judges to state circuit courts.

In an announcement Wednesday, Justice appointed Thomas Hoxie to the 19th Judicial Circuit Court, and Charles Richard Wilson to the 2nd Judicial Circuit Court.

Hoxie is a lifelong resident of Barbour County and a graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law.

Hoxie was most recently Prosecuting Attorney for Barbour County. Prior to that, he worked as a civil attorney in both Barbour and Taylor Counties, which are the two counties that the 19th circuit court serves.

Wilson has been involved in law in both private and public practice for over 30 years. He too graduated from the College of Law at West Virginia University.

He will serve Marshall, Tyler, and Wetzel counties. Wilson is originally from Marshall County and currently lives in Moundsville.
