KPMG Bermuda Announces Senior Appointments
KPMG in Bermuda announced three senior appointments, growing its tax and advisory teams. Irina Razumovskaya joins as an Associate Director in Tax, while Niall Kilroy and Maria Lingham both join as Directors in KPMG’s Advisory team.
A spokesperson said, “Irina is a seasoned US tax advisor with over 15 years of experience. She specializes in international corporate tax and cross-border issues, providing expert advice on US tax planning, optimal structure design, implementation and compliance. Irina’s experience includes US corporate tax, international tax, CFC rules, transactional compliance, tax treaty analysis and withholding tax issues. Her approach ensures that clients receive tailored tax services that deliver the best value, with a strong focus on meticulous implementation of devised strategies.
“Maria Lingham rejoins KPMG’s advisory team having previously worked for the firm in London and Bermuda. She was also the Head of Financial Crime Compliance and MLRO at a local bank in Bermuda. She has extensive experience in anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and corruption, international sanctions, fraud risk management and financial investigations across the banking, [re]insurance, Corporate Service Providers [CSPs] and trusts business both in Bermuda and internationally. She will be working with the team in preparation for Bermuda’s next Caribbean Financial Action Task Force [CFATF] onsite coming up in the next couple of years.
“Niall Kilroy joins KPMG as a Director and a senior actuary in the firm’s Financial Risk Management and Actuarial practice. With 13 years’ of international experience in the insurance industry, Niall brings a wealth of expertise spanning loss reserving, risk & capital modelling and pricing. He has experience across multiple jurisdictions and has worked extensively across a broad spectrum of non-life [re]insurers and captives, as well as government bodies. His cross-border experience positions him to provide valuable insights into local and international regulatory frameworks, including the Bermuda Statutory regime, Solvency II and evolving IFRS standards.”
